蔵の街大通り

江戸期創業の三桝屋本店や毛塚紙店など、趣のある見世蔵や大正 から昭和にかけてのレトロな建物が軒を連ねる、蔵の街・栃木市を象徴するストリートです。市の歴史を物語るこの街並みは市民の誇りであり、細やかに修繕したり、自主的にルールを作って改善したりしながら、次代に残す努力をしています。

Kuranomachi Street

This is a representative street of Tochigi City. Along the street, you can see quaint old-fashioned buildings, or “Misegura”, which combine a shop and a dwelling. Examples of this are Mimasuyahonten and Kezuka Paper Store. There are also several retro buildings which were built from the Taisho to the Showa period.
